Patinated Brass     FINISHES - HOME - CONTACT US           Header

Header About: Patination is the natural oxidisation of a metal over time this can change the colour of the metal over several years. For example bright unfinished brass will eventually change to a deep bronzy brown, we can speed up this natural process with the use of chemicals and produce a wide range of tones within the natural spectrum of the chosen metal.

Considerations: An Antique Brass finish is shown here but both copper and bronze can also be patented and can produce vibrant natural colours of greens and blues however these are softer less durable metals.
